Troy Athens High School

Nick Kolbe has been named Varsity Baseball Head Coach at Troy Athens. Coach Kolbe brings significant baseball experience and strong connections to Troy Schools. He is a Troy Schools graduate and played varsity baseball at Troy High, where he served as team captain. He went on to Michigan State University, earning his degree in education while also starting the MSU Club Baseball program and serving as team captain. Professionally, Coach Kolbe is a teacher at Boulan Park Middle School. His coaching experience includes serving as a varsity assistant baseball coach at Troy High, coaching with the Motor City Hit Dogs, and spending the past three seasons as a varsity assistant at Athens. His familiarity with our student-athletes, program, and school community will provide valuable continuity as he moves into the head coaching role.
