Two Athens Bowlers Qualify for Individual State Finals

The Red Hawks rolled into the Regional Singles Event yesterday at Century Bowl. Out of a field of 78 competitors, SIX Red Hawks stepped onto the lanes representing Athens HS. Junior Gaige Gajewski led the charge, finishing Regional Champion with an impressive 1247 series over six games! Freshman Noah Magolan made a huge statement, placing 4th overall with a strong 1123 series! The depth of this squad showed all day long: • Griffin Sucaet – 12th • Prasham Rathod – 23rd • Jake Merkel – 34th • Soham Bhatta – 40th By finishing in the Top 7, both Gaige and Noah have punched their tickets to the State Finals Singles Event on Monday, March 2nd at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park.
