Thursday night the Lady Redhawks welcomed in the Stallions of Sterling Heights High School for a JV & Varsity doubleheader. In the first game of the evening, the Lady Redhawks used their distinct height advantage to accumulate 51 rebounds and run away with a 49-10 victory. The Redhawks jumped out to a 14-0 1st quarter lead and a 34-1 halftime lead to end any hopes for a comeback. Lily Greaves with 6 points, Faith Cotton with 5 points and 4 other players contributed 4 points apiece to corral the Stallons. The second half was much of the same as 10 of 11 players scored enroute to a runaway victory. The Redhawks were led by Lily Greaves (10 points, 5 steals & 2 rebounds) and Faith Cotton (7 points, 3 rebounds & 2 steals). Other key contributors were Savannah Schubeck (6 points & 9 rebounds), Savannah Byrum (5 points & 7 rebounds), Sienna Brown (4 points & 12 boards), Madhu Battula (4 points, 7 steals & 3 assists), Briony Esper (4 points) and Madelyn Odgers (4 points, 10 rebounds & 2 steals).
